Eric A. Hunter
Eric A. Hunter, Owner/Executive Chef of Kem-Ra, Inc., is a food
consultant and advocate of health education. For over 15 years,
he has been driven by a passion for reshaping what and how we
eat - with irresistible food. His style can be defined as "Mastering
the art of simplicity." He affirms his ardor for natural,
healthy flavors with a fresh and eclectic range of artful dishes,
harmonized with sumptuously entertaining cuisine.
Eric has worked in New York City's most elegant and celebrated
restaurants. He made a huge splash with finesse at Danube,
Cello, Bouley, Vong, and as Executive Chef at Counter, a vegetarian
restaurant/wine bar located in the East Village. His artistic
talent for extracting the true essence of savory ingredients
is enormously inspirational. Handpicked fruits, fresh herbs and
vegetables from local farmers add to the excitement and pizzazz
of his dishes.
A Baltimore native, Eric's passion for detail, and devotion
to an array of diverse ingredients has won wide-acclaim and noteworthy
attention in private circles. As a third generation Chef, he
was surrounded by scrumptious temptations his entire childhood.
When the time came to make a career choice, he studied at the
Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and
Culinary Arts in New
York City.
A masterful Chef, Eric maintains impeccably high standards with
each client. The painstaking beauty of each meal has helped earn
him the title, "perfectionist." He has numerous radio
and television interviews to his credit, including New York City's
CBS Morning Show.
Eric lives in Brooklyn, New York. |
